Simple Soft buns
Recipe ( good for 18 buns )
- 20g flour in 200g water (boil to starch)
- 340g bread flour
- 30g sugar or 20g honey
- 5g yeast
- 10 g milk powder
- 6g salt
- 130g milk
- 1 large egg
- 25g butter
(knead above into dough and let it stand to rise for an hour)
Divide into 18 buns of same size and arrange in a tray to let it rise for another 45 mins.
Bake at 180 C for 20~25 mins
(if you prefer to have some sesame seeds on top of bun, brush dough with fresh milk before placing sesame on it to hold it during baking)
