Char kway teow
Ingredients
- 400g pack fresh kway teow ( nice for 4 pax )
- Garlic
- Yellow onion
- Bean sprout
- Chye Sim
- Chinese sausage or minced meat of choice
- Fish Cake
- Fish Sauce
- Sweet dark soy sauce
- 3 eggs
Char kway teow is any how char one 😁, simply prepare chye sim, bean sprout and sausage slice into thin pieces.
Fry garlic and one yellow onion thinly sliced in oil ( I use olive oil ), and add in sausage (or any meat of choice) and stir fry.
Next add in chye sim, bean sprout and stir fry, add in kway teow and add in a half cup water to keep it moist and stir fry. ( I prefer ceramic wok to keep the moist)
Sprinkle fish sauce over it, agak agak and then the black sweet soy sauce, also agak agak, just around it, ok, like go around the pan in circle about 10 rounds for fish sauce and 8 rounds for sweet sauce, aiyah agak agak. 🤣
After stir fry push all aside put some oil beat 2 to 3 eggs to fry and then cover back with the kway teow and stir fry again and it will be ready.
It is just so simple, the fish sauce and sweet sauce after a few fry you will know how much you need to your own taste. Adjust accordingly.
