Vinegar 🐽 trotter
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of pork hock (front leg) or lower part of leg (~1kg)
- Chopped into pieces
- Boil in ginger and cooking wine for 15 mins to blaunch it
- Wash after boiling
- 200 ~ 250g old ginger
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 150g palm suger (gula melaka, pure one will be better)
Fry giner and garlic to fragrant and add in the trotters and stir fry
Stir fry for 5 mins and add in 420ml black vinegar (small bottle) to boil and add water to just submerge the trotter.
Add - 3 tbsp light sauce and 3 tbsp of dark sauce(agak agak and adjust taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt and 1tbsp sugar ( if need to adjust taste )
Cook on high fire for 15 mins and lower to small flame to simmer for another one hour. Ready to serve.
